Welcome to the Touring Historians
Primary School Curriculum History Workshops
We strongly believe that children should learn about history, not just from a computer. Using interaction and artefact handling, children can gain a better understanding and appreciation of history.
It is our aim to make curriculum based history fun, accessible, creative and interactive for Primary School Children aged 4-11.
The Touring Historians have achieved this by creating a series of workshops which inspire children to learn about history through participation and artefact handling. Activities include anything from brass rubbing, dressing up, drawing, card games and so much more.
We are based in Kent and Sussex and cater our workshops to the needs of the school and teachers, to help you make the most of what we have to offer.
Find out about the workshops we run by clicking on the History Workshops link at the top of the page.
Workshops run for an hour and also include free photocopiable topic packs. We also offer you full CRB checks on request. To learn more about the founders of The Touring Historians, please click on the Who Are We link at the top of the page.
